Christmas Recap

Leah is happy her butterfly name is framed.

Super cute jammies

Grant works hard to help Daddy put together the train table.

Grant shows Leah how her new toy works.

Leah crashes after a busy day.

This picture cracks me up.

4 Months Old

Leah is 4 months old today!  Too bad she's sick.  She's had a cold for a while but it has definitely gotten worse.  Then this afternoon daycare called and said her eye was goopy and she couldn't come back until she got some antibiotics.  In the past week Leah has: discovered she can eat her toes, laughed for Daddy and Grant, started to become more interested in her surroundings than nursing, and is super close to rolling over.  She did technically roll over one day, from tummy to back, but we've decided not to count it because it was more of a fall and we're the parents so we get to make that call. :)

Leah was a drool factory this weekend.  We had to break out the bibs so she wouldn't get soaked.  I love how blue her eyes look in this picture.

Leah was kind of cranky so Daddy held her up to look at the animals in her name.  When he showed her the ladybug she got so excited, talking and kicking her legs fast.  She thought that ladybug was pretty cute!  Grant liked his animals too.

Leah likes to look at her pig, just like Grant used to like his cow.

More Pictures

As you can see, I'm too tired to think of any kind of creative title for this post.

Daddy and Grant built a cool castle.

Leah was all smiles during her bath tonight. She sure likes to stick her tongue out. And she splashed so much everything was soaked.  This may be the last bath on the counter.

Rachel, Leah's wearing your shirt.

Tonight at Dinner

At this end of the table we have screaming, hysterical, irrational 2 year old.

At this end of the table we have cute baby girl smiling and talking to the light fixture.

One end was decidedly more pleasant.

3 Months Old

Leah is 3 months old today!  Look at how big she is getting!

Leah continues to be a happy baby. She smiles a lot and is starting to talk more. Today before I took these pictures I was holding her so she could see the advent calendar and the little tree we have next to it. She started blowing bubbles and and smiling and talking to them. She's taking her bottle well and has had a blowout every day this week. Seriously, this girl is going to stain all of her clothes. She loves to watch her brother and the mobile in her crib. She usually sleeps with her arms straight out at her sides or up by her head. We need to get a picture of it, it's pretty funny. She really is the cutest thing.

Back to Work

I went back to work yesterday. It's going ok. I'm only working part time this week so it doesn't quite seem real. Over the weekend we put up our Christmas tree, which Grant is very excited about. And last night we went to the zoo to see the lights. It was pretty warm out so we thought it would be super busy, but it wasn't at all. It was really nice to not be cold and not be annoyed with all the people. The baby elephant was taking a shower and it was so cute. Also so cute? These random pictures.

Daddy and Leah watching tv.

Leah and Grant in their Buckeye gear for the OSU/UM game.  We started out having Grant put his arm around Leah but that didn't work out.  He still kept trying though- that explains the unnatural arm pose he has going on.  This is also before he peeled a big chunk off the 7 on his jersey.

Here's what an early weekend morning at our house looks like.  Daddy is thrilled I put this picture up, but I think it's hilarious.
