Christmas Worms

The other night when I was getting Grant ready for bed we had the following conversation:

G:  "Mommy!  The worms are turning into butterflies!"
M: Do you have caterpillars at school?  And they're going to turn into butterflies?
G: Yes!  They're in Christmas!
M: They're in a chrysalis?
G: Yes!  In Christmas!

So there you have it.

A Tooth!

Tonight I noticed that Leah finally had a tooth come in!  Hopefully its neighbor appears soon so she will be a little more comfortable.

Eggs!

Using the egg holder thingy as a magnifying glass.

Very proud of his eggs!

Leah didn't help with the eggs, but she's still pretty cute!

Baa Baa Black Sheep

Grant has been singing Baa Baa Black Sheep to us.  His version has a twist.  Instead of asking the sheep if they have any wool, he sings "baa baa black sheep, have you any wolf?"  It cracks me every time.

I Almost Forgot- Updated, I Remembered

2 things that Grant has said this weekend that are funny.

1.  He was wearing his block O hat and he called it his Buckeye State hat.

2.  This morning he tried to convince Troy it was warm enough to wear shorts, which he calls "short pants."  Well, I guess that's true.

3.  Grant has started saying "Can you do me a favorite?"  instead of favor.

4.  At the zoo we saw the lions.  Two females were closest to us and the male was further away.  Grant saw the male and said, "Look!  There's the Papa Bear!"

Flying at the Zoo

Leah has fun at the aquarium

Did you know that Grant flies?  Here he is flying at the zoo.

We could barely get Grant to pay attention to the polar bear RIGHT in front of him.  He was so focused on the one on the other side of the water who was about to jump in.  Once the bear started jumping Grant put down his cup and assumed this strange hands at the face pose.  Not sure why, we've never seen him do that before.

7 Months

These pictures are getting harder and harder to take! Leah is such a wiggle worm. She is a fast little army crawler and gets to whatever she wants. Usually she wants shoes, plastic bags and brother's toys. Her bottom teeth still have not come through so she's chewing on everything in sight. She's recently become more vocal too. I picked the kids up from daycare the other night and Leah talked the entire way home. And she was loud! When Troy picked her up the next night she got really excited and everyone in the room thought she was saying "Hi Da Da Da" and waving. Leah has enjoyed riding on the little car outside a few times.  Maybe it will warm up and stay warm and we can get a picture of it.
