Feeding the Fish

Our neighborhood has a nice path with some "lakes" and a bridge. It's a really pretty walk and at our house is referred to as Going to See the Water. Lately this has turned into Going to Feed the Fish. The trees are finally starting to change color so we went to feed the fish and take some pictures last night. As you can see, another highlight of this walk is standing on rocks.

Mommy's Favorite Outfit

I bought this outfit when I was pregnant with Grant. I knew I was having a boy. But I thought it was the cutest thing ever and I had to have it in case I ever had a girl. So you'll probably be seeing lots of pictures of her in it because I plan for her to wear it all the time.

Leah Smiles!

I thought Leah smiled at me a week or so ago, but I wasn't sure if it was real or gas. This weekend she smiled for real and to my surprise she smiled when I was taking her picture. I know these are all kind of similar, but look how cute she is! She also started losing her hair on top recently. Soon she'll be sporting the old man look.

Touch A Truck with Jared and Jill

Last weekend Uncle Jared and Aunt Jill came to meet Leah and see the new house.  It was Touch a Truck at the library so they and Grandma came along.  Thanks for coming to visit guys!

 

Grant really liked the "motorcycles" and had fun sitting on Jeff's Vespa.  The COTA bus was his favorite thing once we got him on it, but we didn't get any pictures.

I'm a Big Girl!

 

 

Mommy took me to get weighed on Monday.  I weighed 9 pounds 3 ounces!  When my brother was 8 weeks old he weighed 10 pounds 3 ounces so I'll have that beat no problem!

4 Weeks Old

 

 

 

Little Leah is 4 weeks old!  She's really starting to fill out and is growing out of her newborn clothes.  I think I'm going to get her weighed on Monday.  I'm so curious to know what she weighs now.  Leah is a really good baby.  She wakes up once or twice in the night and usually goes back to sleep pretty quickly.  She likes tummy time and often falls asleep on her stomach.  She doesn't really like the swaddle blanket but we're still trying it. She likes her swing and taking a bath.  She really is just a happy baby.  (Knock on wood!) 

Down on the Farm

We took a trip to Napoleon and hit the ranch and the farm. There were lots of tractor rides and watching combines in the fields and seeing family.

Grant was scared at first, but he eventually went for a ride on this little tractor at the ranch.
